Caramoan Resorts

One of the popular resorts in Caramoan is the Gota Village Resort.
As its name implies, Gota is located in a small cove situated in the northwest portion of the resort area. It has two beaches along the coast and are separated by a small limestone hill. The Gota east side beach has an approximate area of 5,000 square meters. On the west side of the hill is called the Gota west beach which has an approximate area of 4,000 square meters. One canc ertaily enjoy the fine to medium, brownish gray sand were from the erosion of the sandstones.
Other accommodations are:
Rex Tourist Inn – Located in Real St. Barangay Tawog. There are 6 rooms available.
Rates for fan room: Php300.00
Rates for Regular room/Executive room: Ranging from Php500.00 to 2,500.00
Roa Pension House – Located in Sirangan St., Barangay Tawog –
Rates for air-conditioned room rates: Ranging from Php1,000.00 to 1,400.00
There are other Bed and Breakfast type accommodations (Pinoy Style)
Imelda Versoza Residence – Located in Centro, Caramoan – fully furnished Country style, cozy and well maintained. Beddings, water, air-conditioned rooms, spacious living room, and foods are available upon request. Two big aircon rooms are available for rent, rates starts from Php500.00.
David Plopinio Residence – Located in Centro, Caramoan – It is a fully furnished, three storey concrete house. Beddings, water, air-conditioned rooms, spacious living room, veranda, food / meals can be ordered / served. With two spacious air-conditioned rooms with separate toilet and bathroom. Rates are starting from Php500.00

How much po ang daily or weekly rate sa airconditioned room with “CR” sa DAVID PLOPINO RESIDENCE? Ilang bed po ang nasa room/ ilang tao ang kasya sa room? May available room pa po ba for March 19-25, 2010? Gaano ito kalayo sa Gota Village Resort?

Please don’t bother to stay in Rex Inn, poor ang services nila, mukha silang pera, at di marunong makipag usap. Try other hotel or Inn I suggest, Maganda ang caramoan, pero nadissapoint kami sa tinirhan namin, please see below the Inn.

Gota Village in Caramoan is a top end resort, owned by the province of Camarines Sur. The lower staff (restaurant, boatmen) are doing a great job. Unfortunately the management of Gota is poor and not applying to the guest’s needs at all. Don’t be surprised when you find out the day before that the daily afternoon ferry service (for Gota guests only) will be out of order only for that particular day and that you should take the early morning service instead. Don’t be surprised when you get up early the following morning that the 7am early morning service is not there and that the management knew that it would be postponed for 2 hours already the evening before but informed only some (and not all) of the departing guests. When you complain to the management, they convince you not to take the public ferry since it would still take longer than the Gota-ferry. They assure you that the Gota-ferry will leave at 9am sharp. Don’t be surprised when you are finally inside the boat at 9am, that the management tells the captain of the boat to wait for another 1,5 hours for some other Gota-guests (2 photo models and their crew) who were in the resort together with us and who were planning to leave the resort around 10:30am in the first place). According to the captain of the boat this kind of things happen a lot because of the logistic management. The management tried to convince me that it was all to blame on the captain and his crew, but I have seen with my very own eyes that the captain got orders from the management not to leave and wait for the models). If you like to visit Caramoan, I suggest to stay in one of the pensions in Caramoan town proper instead. If you want to stay in top end resorts only, there are many alternative and good resorts in Palawan/El Nido/Busuanga for example that offer much more.

Never stay at Hotel Rex.It’s only there that we experienced that quests are charged at P1500 for its shuttle service.What I understand is that a shuttle service is always free for guests like in any hotel that I have stayed.I think, hotel owners specially the owner of Rex Hotel should attend seminars on Hotel management.The rooms are dirty and so the bathrooms. No ameneties to enjoy whatsoever. No toilet papers,or shampoo and soap provided. Ewwww….We will find some nice lodging house there ,next time.
But, we enjoyed the island hopping very much!!Boatmen are courteous and patient.Good job!n see you next island hopping!!

Hi there, am I right to assume that the Gota Village Resort is still closed?! Can you tell me the next best option, we are staying in CamSur for three weeks but are getting kicked out of CWC for a week due to the Iron Man competition. We wanted to stay at the Resort but I am getting no response from anyone about it… can you help?

Our parish staff is planning to go to Caramoan on May 16-17. We are eight (8) in our group, including our parish priest who is also a Bicolano.
